Becoming a member of Alington House Community Association is really easy, and a simple and inexpensive way of supporting a worthwhile cause right here in the middle of Durham's historic City Centre.

Being a Member supports our range of socially inclusive activities, such as work with disadvantaged groups, local interest organisations, focus groups and the unemployed. Membership helps us to assist other good causes such as reading groups, history courses, religious groups and counselling.

Some of our grant funding is also based on the size of our membership, so by joining us you make grant applications more robust.

Alington house Community Association has supported the people of Durham for over 60 years - joining us will help us to continue this tradition of service.

How to Apply

Becoming a member is easy - call in at the office during working hours and speak to Alan, or contact us on the number below. Membership is normally approved by the Trustees within a few weeks.
